Debating & Public Speaking Comp

Last week Damascus students travelled to Emmanuel College Warrnambool to participate in the Frayne Festival, which is a debating and public speaking competition.
It is the first time in a few years that schools in the Mercy tradition have come together to compete.
Year 11 students, Eden Willow, Kaitlyn Handreck, Audrey Merlin and Shae Goon competed in debating, winning one and losing one against very competitive teams, and Rhyal Williams competed in Oratory.
