Rowing Update

Congratulations to all the crews who competed in the BCC Vs DMAC friendly regatta and the very first Omnium regatta this past weekend.
On Saturday, the juniors raced at Lake Wendouree against Ballarat & Clarendon College for some friendly fun competition. Such a great opportunity to gain some more experience, improve and have some fun.
In a new style of racing on Sunday, the Omnium Regatta, the senior boys held their own and passed three crews, as well as holding off numerous boats chasing behind them. The inter boys and girls also did exceptionally well with the inter boys placing 4th in their division, and the inter girls placing 2nd, 3rd and 3rd in their divisions.
It was a big weekend for Damascus rowing and a fantastic effort from everyone. Keep up the hard work, Go DC!!!
