Ice Bucket Challenge

Here at Damascus College, our need for Community involvement is always in our minds.
Our dedicated Year 12 Students have been in contact with Neale Daniher and have been passionate in supporting his plight of promoting awareness and fighting MND (Motor Neurone Disease).
The students have faced many challenges in supporting this cause with their very own ‘Big Freeze’ due to COVID-19 restrictions. This project has taken on many forms and true to our students being ‘Applied Learners’ they have shown flexibility and perseverance to plan, implement and conduct an exciting ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ for September 14th 2020.
A Everyday Hero page has been setup to support the students in safely gaining donations. Please share with your families and if a donation is not possible, please discuss MND in your household so we can help create awareness of this disease.
