The Damascus College Music Program is strong and vibrant, with an active, passionate and talented student band, ensemble and College choir.
Through all year levels, students have the opportunity to learn an instrument and be part of many performance opportunities at the College.
Instruments available to learn with visiting tutors are:
- Brass
- Clarinet
- Drums
- Flute
- Guitar - lead/acoustic/rhythm/bass
- Piano
- Saxophone
- Singing - classical and modern
- Strings
These lessons are in addition to the normal curriculum and incur an added expense. Students’ lessons are rotated as often as possible, so that the same classes are not missed each week.
