About the Role
Damascus College is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Instrumental Tutor- Woodwind/Woodwind and Brass to join our growing Instrumental Music Department as soon as possible. This is a contract position for the remainder of the 2024 school year with the possibility of a renewal of contract in 2025.
The successful candidate will be engaged across one to two days of teaching each week during school term. Students in the program are enrolled for half hour lessons on a rotational basis, during school hours each week and are charged for eight lessons per term.
It is preferable for applicants to have the ability to work, communicate with and educate students of varying skill levels (from complete beginner with no music experience to intermediate students with a good knowledge of music theory and techniques) and to overall have the ability to modify and differentiate for students with diverse learning needs.
