Volunteer Opportunities

There is a wide variety of volunteer activities that you can become involved with, including but not limited to:

  • Speak to students about your careers
  • Sustainable Racing Team
  • Rowing Coaching, crew and event support
  • Events, formals, morning teas, BBQs
  • Fundraising
  • Language assistance - French and Indonesian
  • Performing arts
  • Science
  • Sport, coaching, umpiring
  • After school tutoring
  • Offer work experience for students

If you would like to volunteer at Damascus College, you will require a current, valid Working with Children's Check (Volunteer or Employee status) OR a current VIT registration. You can register your interest in the Volunteer Expression of Interest form at the following link: Form

Steps to follow to become a volunteer at Damascus College

A member of the relevant College Learning or Program Area will contact you to confirm receipt of Volunteer Expression of Interest form details and provide further information.

Pre-engagement checks including reference checking for programs such as Rowing and Sustainable Racing Team, will be completed.

Once the Learning or Program Area team member verifies an opportunity for your engagement as a Volunteer, you will be emailed important Volunteer Induction information including our Damascus Child Safety Code of Conduct, for completion.
