New Damascus Website

As part of our commitment to continuously improve and strive for excellence, we will soon be launching a new Damascus College website that will go live on Monday 14 September.
It is important for the College to have a strong, consistent and professional digital presence that is current, modern and contemporary. The aim of developing this new website is to improve overall functionality, usability and to offer a fresh, clean and modern design that showcases more pictures and videos that will enhance the overall experience for users.
The new website will still be accessible via the same domain name, this being www.damascus.vic.edu.au
are some key changes to highlight for students, staff and families when using the website:
• The main navigation is the Hamburger Menu, which is accessible in the top left hand corner, maroon icon, which opens up the five menu drop down headings
• The ‘Resource Hub’ information is now found at the ‘My DC’ icon which is located in the top right hand corner of the website, maroon icon. Please note that some of the information contained in the current Resource Hub on the current website, will now be accessible via PAM
• The College newsletter has a new design and has different ways that you can view it, to suit your preference. There is a Grid View and a Reader View. The Reader View is similar to viewing the information in a scrollable PDF format. You can click on your preferred view
• Our Facebook social media feed and Newsletter stories are accessible on the website homepage, you just need to scroll down to the bottom
Please note that as with most new websites, it works best when using the latest internet search engines, so please DO NOT use Internet Explorer to view the website, instead Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are preferred search engines.
We trust that our community will embrace this exciting and innovative change, even if it takes a little time to adjust, as we strive to enhance our Damascus College digital presence.
